Hyundai cars are renowned for their sharp handling and spirited performance, but Hyundai N Line and N models take driving to another level. Bred from the world's racetracks and rally courses, Hyundai N Line and N vehicles are now available for all sports car enthusiasts seeking a high-intensity driving experience. Here at Huffines Hyundai Plano in Texas, we explain what N Line and N are and the high-performance trims they offer.

What Does N Mean?

According to Hyundai, the N model designation has two origins. The first is from the manufacturer's global research and development center in the district of Namyang, in South Korea where its high-performance vehicles are created. The second derivation comes from the epic Nürburgring racetrack in Germany where Hyundai rigorously tests and refines its performance cars.

Hyundai has engineered its N Line and N models on the back of its success in the Touring Car Racing series at the World Rally Championship. These race-inspired vehicles are designed and built to give you an invigorating driving experience whether you're enjoying a track day or tackling the daily commute.

Hyundai N vs. N Line

Many people wonder what the difference is between the N Line and N model designations. There are subtle and not-so-subtle touches that separate them.

Hyundai N Line

N Line variants are set apart from regular Hyundai trims by sporty design elements and performance upgrades that enhance their looks and aerodynamics. They have more power, improved handling characteristics, and premium tires for better grip. Along with better performance, Hyundai N Line models are designed with a balance of safety, technology, and comfort.

Hyundai N

Hyundai N models undergo demanding testing conditions to hone their performance for driving enthusiasts who will likely head to the track for an adrenaline-fueled experience. N vehicles feature the automaker's most powerful engines, and Hyundai engineers the transmission, steering, brakes, suspension, and limited slip differential for superior driving dynamics. Each of those elements can be adjusted to personalize your driving experience. With their aggressive styling and exclusive N badging, these models get your pulse racing before you even start driving.
